Coffee: The fuel to engine in tackling life's goals!

Coffee, with its myriad forms, represents all facets of my life much like the  unpredictability of life itself. It's undoubtedly the aspect of the morning I look forward to the most. Rising early in the mornings always feels bearable when I imagine the smell of freshly brewed coffee. Every time it’s consumed, the smooth liquid never fails to bring happiness or contentment. It might be sour, just like the difficulties we confront, but it might also be robust, just like we ought to be when facing difficulties. It might be sweet and brimming with tastes, just like life when everything seems to be going smoothly. Finding the ideal cup of coffee is always up to us because there are countless possible combinations and we possess the freedom to choose our ideal combination to kickstart our morning.

Coffee has become an integral component of my everyday routine. A cup of latte calms and warms my insides on rainy days while a grande caramel frappuccino just about beats the heat during warm weather. A freshly brewed coffee acts as a valuable companion especially when reading or writing. It assists me to complete my daily life goals and always provides the energy to initiate complex tasks. Albeit with its various combinations, coffee is actually quite easy to prepare. It’s as simple as adding boiling water to appropriate amounts of instant coffee, creamer, and sugar. I usually prefer the Americano and it is my go-to-choice when I have to make a decision regarding a specific coffee. It helps to break the last stage of my sleepiness and prepares me to take on the world for the day.

Coffee culture is defined by mellow music, a calm atmosphere, and the delicious aroma of freshly made coffee. Everyone ends up at their preferred cafés, whether they are old friends hoping to catch up, focused students looking to get some work done, or a busy person requiring a break from their busy schedule. Around five years ago, Bangladesh had no culture of coffee. This is understandable given Bangladeshis' unwavering love for the ideal cup of tea and the fact that, in contrast to what we were taught in our introductory economics classes, tea and coffee are not exact equivalents. However, it's amazing how coffee culture managed to take off in a country like ours that values tea.

All coffee shops have their own ways of attracting people. They provide a setting that is unmatched, one that is relaxed and invites you to take your time. Every prominent café encourages us to settle down while we enjoy our beverage thanks to the shelves filled with books, newspapers, and board games, which may be very comfortable when leading a fast-paced existence. As Dhaka's coffee culture develops more and more prevalent, so has my love for coffee. The allure of a well-made cup of coffee has inspired me to conduct independent study on the best beans to buy, discover the various notes, and invest in new equipment to prepare it at home.
I frequently utilize my favorite café as a retreat when I want to take in a few brownies, a warm beverage, and a good book without actually being alone myself. More and more young people are looking for a table for one as 'me time' and 'solo dates' become more and more commonplace. Anyone hoping to enjoy their own company in a comfortable setting will find it less intimidating because going to coffee shops alone is more socially acceptable than going alone to a restaurant.

While some things change with time and others never do, one of those changes is the spread of coffee culture in Bangladesh. However, despite the country's increasing number of upscale cafés, many individuals still have a strong evening yearning for a hot cup of milk tea. A neighborhood café and a roadside tea shop can both create similar feelings of familiarity and comfort in a person, despite their many differences.

It's never a bad moment to stop by our favorite coffee shop to sip on a warm beverage while we enjoy the company of our loved ones, or just our own, as our lives get busier and the list of things to worry about gets longer. Moments like these let us realize how much we value even the seemingly insignificant things of life.
